CLF Announces $1.5 Million Campaign Against LuAnn Bennett
Independent Expenditures Includes TV and Digital Advertising
The Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today announced plans to spend $1.5 million in Virginia’s 10th congressional district race against Democrat elitist LuAnn Bennett. The independent expenditure will include October TV advertising in the Washington, DC media market and digital advertising.
“From advertising on the airwaves to digital platforms, LuAnn Bennett will have no place to hide from her support of the failed Obama-Clinton agenda,” said Ruth Guerra, spokeswoman for Congressional Leadership Fund. “Voters need to look no further than the Iran deal ransom and Hillary’s email scandal to know they don’t want more dishonest Democrats in Congress.”
This is part of CLF’s announced general election spending to date of $20.7 million across 15 congressional districts. In 2014, CLF spent over $1 million in the VA-10 congressional race, supporting Barbara Comstock’s victory over John Foust.
