Exposed classified info, jeopardized national security…..a distraction?
With Hillary Clinton guaranteed to be at top of the ticket, Democrats are having to dodge answer on their nominee’s connection to an FBI investigation, or as a federal judge recently put it, a ‘criminal investigation.’
Despite over a year of public controversy, ongoing federal investigations and a Federal Records Act violation finding on Clinton’s use of a private email server, Nevada Democrats Ruben Kihuen and Jacky Rosen were entirely stumped not once, not twice, but three times by Jon Ralston’s simple question on the topic. The only answers they could conjure up ranged from denying concern to labeling the question a “distraction.”
What should worry Nevadans more? Kihuen and Rosen’s partisan goggles or their failure to recognize the severity of Clinton exposing classified material and jeopardizing our national security?

I have interviewed a lot of politicians, but I don’t think I have ever experienced such quicksilver pivoting. None wanted to answer my simple question about whether they had any concerns about Clinton’s server use being subject to a federal probe. All immediately told me that voters don’t care, there are more important issues, blah, blah, blah.
Kihuen finally offered up (third try) when I pressed him on being concerned: “I’m not.”
Rosen (third try) finally said, “These questions are yet to be determined. They are a distraction from the issues.”
