CLF Statement on WI-03 Primary Results

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), the super PAC endorsed by Speaker Mike Johnson and House Republican Leadership, released the following statement on the primary election results in Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District:

“Congratulations to Derrick Van Orden on his primary victory tonight,” said CLF President Chris Winkelman. “Derrick lowered taxes for Wisconsin working families and delivered millions in infrastructure and agricultural improvements. Derrick’s opponent, Rebecca Cooke, is a far-left candidate and a DC Democrat operative, not a waitress. Rebecca Cooke is endorsed by Bernie Sanders and supports socialized medicine and tax hikes – she’s too liberal for Wisconsin.”
