MGP’s Primary Problems 👀

In case you’re missing it, Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez has a massive progressive problem shaping up in WA-03.

Progressive protesters are planning to be outside MGP’s Vancouver office everyday this month over her vote to fund DHS, many of whom are not planning to vote for her again and instead looking at her lefty primary opponent who is getting endorsements and doubling his fundraising.

Not only does her base feel betrayed, so does her former roommate at Reed who is spilling some serious secrets about her “slinging the most dirt weed in Portland” and abusing animals.

Yikes. Nothing looks good for MGP. Summed up the best by her constituent…“Congratulations, Marie. You are the ultimate bipartisan. Everybody hates you.”

Protesters target Perez for her voting record

Protesters have gathered in front of U.S. Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez’s Vancouver offices every day last week.

Many of them helped to elect the Skamania Democrat to Congress in 2022 and 2024 but have since grown frustrated with her, especially after her Jan. 22 vote to fund the Department of Homeland Security.

The protesters also broached the subject of replacing Perez as the top Democratic contender in the 2026 midterm election.

Perez already has several people lined up to challenge her in Washington’s top-two primary election on Aug. 4.

The official filing period for candidates is May 4-8, but at least six people already have stated their intentions to run against Perez in 2026…
