Pat Ryan’s First Act of 119th Congress: Vote Against Border Security

Today, the new Congress just took their first legislative vote on the bipartisan Laken Riley Act, and to no one’s surprise, anti-border security extremist Pat Ryan voted AGAINST it.

This commonsense bill requires ICE to take illegal immigrants charged with theft-related crimes into custody, which is designed to save lives by preventing tragedies like what happened to Laken Riley and other innocent Americans.

Yet despite promising his constituents he’d support securing the border… Pat Ryan still voted against it.

“Today, Pat Ryan proved to New Yorkers that their safety and well-being is not his priority,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole. “What will it take for Ryan to protect New York families and take border security seriously?”
