REPORT: Will Rollins Gave a Sweetheart Deal to “Serial Poisoner”
A scathing new report reveals Will Rollins – who tries to present himself as tough on crime – gave a sweetheart deal to a man guilty of pouring bleach on groceries fifteen times in two different states.
This “serial poisoner” faced 60 years in prison and a $1.5 million fine, but as the assistant U.S. attorney, Will Rollins cut a deal to reduce the poisoner’s sentence and put him back on the street after only four years.
And this is just one example of Rollins’ soft-on-crime history. Not long ago, Rollins proudly touted the endorsement of a radical group, who pushed to eliminate cash bail and defund the police.
“Will Rollins can pretend that he’s tough on crime all he wants, but his record speaks for itself,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole. “Californians can’t trust Rollins to keep them safe.”
