Tony Vargas Tries to Rewrite His Tax-Hiking History

In (another) baffling attempt to rewrite history, Tony Vargas claimed on X last night that he’s working to deliver tax relief for Nebraska families.

The problem with this is that Vargas worked overtime in the Nebraska legislature to raise income taxes on anyone earning more than $100,000. In fact, he even wants the state income tax rate in Nebraska to be the fifth highest in the entire country.
