Amish Shah Is Wrong for AZ-01

Democrats messy six-way primary in AZ-01 is over, and Amish Shah is emerging weak and broke from this chaotic race to the left, where Shah has shown just how out of touch he is with AZ-01 voters:

• Arizona’s border crisis is fueling a deadly fentanyl epidemic, but instead of working to secure the border, Shah co-sponsored a bill to give illegal immigrants drivers licenses.
• While Arizonans are struggling to make ends meet, Shah said he’d vote against renewing the Trump tax cuts and downplayed inflation.
• And Shah supports universal health care plans – including far-left AOC’s costly Medicare for All plan – saying on the campaign trail that “the biggest idea we have to get across is, cover everybody.”

“Democrats’ messy race to the left showed Arizonans that Amish Shah is a pro-illegal immigration, tax-and-spend, liberal who believes in a socialist Medicare system that will make life even harder for Arizonans,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole. “Arizona voters will reject Shah this fall.”
