Hertel’s Candidacy in Jeopardy

Curtis Hertel’s candidacy is in jeopardy after a challenge filed against his campaign exposed that Hertel’s paperwork did not clearly specify which office he’s running for.

On the documents, Hertel wrote only that he’s running for “U.S. Congress,” a body which is made up of both a House and a Senate – a fact that Hertel apparently isn’t aware of.

Hertel’s is clearly a campaign in crisis, and Democrats must be asking themselves if they’ll lose this seat because of it.
