Hayes’ Silence Is Deafening

Jahana Hayes sided with progressive House Democrats and refused to condemn antisemitism on college campuses.

Now, Jewish students are in danger.

Antisemitism on campuses has tripled, and over the weekend, a Jewish student at Yale University in Connecticut was callously attacked and stabbed in the eye by anti-Israel protestors on the school’s campus.

But since this egregious incident occurred in her home state, Jahana Hayes has said nothing about it.

“Jahana Hayes’ refusal to condemn antisemitism on college campuses has emboldened anti-Israel protestors and enabled attacks like the one last weekend on an innocent student in her own state,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole. “Hayes’ silence is deafening, and she should be ashamed.”
