Suozzi’s Migrant Crisis Worsens as NYC Pays Migrants $53 Million
New York’s migrant crisis continues to spiral out of control.
The latest: Tom Suozzi’s ally Mayor Adams announced NYC will hand out $53 million in pre-paid credit cards to comp migrants’ bills.
Don’t forget that the crisis cost taxpayers $2 billion last year alone, with total costs potentially reaching $12 billion (yes, you read that right).
The cost of the crisis is only one component, which follows rampant migrant crime and disgusting conditions New Yorkers are being subjected to.
But New Yorkers know that Adams crony Suozzi is to blame:
- Tom Suozzi voted repeatedly to fund the sanctuary city policies that allowed migrants to come to New York in the first place;
- And he ushered in this crisis when he “kicked ICE out of Nassau County;”
- Now, Suozzi is playing the blame game to try and pin this crisis on anyone but himself.
“Tom Suozzi has proven over and over that he cannot be trusted to do the right thing on immigration,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole. “Suozzi has repeatedly put illegal migrants ahead of New Yorkers, and now hardworking taxpayers are forced to pay the price in more ways than one.”
