Halloween Candy Prices “Scary”

Candy prices are spooking families as they get ready for Halloween this year.

According to a report from NPR, candy prices are up 13% since last year – “the largest yearly jump in candy prices the CPI has ever recorded.”

And if you thought about making your own treats, well sugar prices are up 17% and flour prices are up 24%.

“The prices alone are making this Halloween the spookiest ever,” said CLF Press Secretary Cally Perkins. “Americans are frightened as everything is becoming more expensive thanks to Democrats’ reckless spending.”
