“Never Voted for a Tax Increase”
During an event in Stroudsburg, Matt Cartwright claimed that he has “never voted for a tax increase.”
But that just isn’t true. Matt Cartwright just voted for a $20 billion middle-class tax hike in the tax and spending bill – and that’s just the most recent tax increase.
Worse, crooked Cartwright votes for tax increases while skipping out on his own taxes.
“It’s bad enough Matt Cartwright has such a long record of hiking taxes on Americans, but it’s even worse he’s being completely dishonest about it,” said CLF Press Secretary Cally Perkins. “With an election on the horizon, Cartwright is trying to paper over his failed record, hoping voters will forget he made life less affordable.”
