Shot/Chaser: Titus Blocks Relief at Pump

SHOT: NBC News 3 reports that even if Democrats pass a gas tax holiday, Nevadans won’t see any relief at the pump.

CHASER: Dina Titus is the reason why — Titus approved legislation in 1997 that raises  “Nevada’s fuel tax by the exact amount of any reduction at the federal level.”

“Dina Titus has done everything in her power to ensure Nevadans feel pain at the pump,” said CLF Press Secretary Cally Perkins. “Titus wants to put on a big show to pretend like she’s doing something, but thanks to her, Nevadans won’t be seeing any relief anytime soon.”
