Crime forces Amazon to relocate
Crime has gotten so bad that Amazon has been forced to “relocate” as many as 1,800 employees from their offices in downtown Seattle.
Amazon is Washington State’s largest employer, and even it doesn’t feel safe sending its employees to work, given the crime surge in the area which has included:
- The fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy
- A homeless man stabbed in his sleep
- An armed man ramming his car into a federal building and firing a rifle in the downtown area
- Another person shot in the face
And this is just to mention a few examples within blocks of their offices. Anti-police politicians like Kim Schrier and her far-left allies are to blame. After all, Schrier voted for legislation to undermine law enforcement and has voted against condemning calls to defund police.
“Kim Schrier and Washington Democrats clamored to weaken law enforcement and now crime is going through the roof,” said CLF Press Secretary Cally Perkins. “Schrier continues to coddle criminals, putting jobs and families’ safety at risk.”
