645,000 reasons Axne doesn’t want to ban Congressional insider trading
Per Punchbowl News this morning, Congresswoman Cindy Axne wants to block legislation that would stop Members of Congress from trading stocks.
No surprise: Axne failed to disclose $645,000 in stock trades, has 40+ violations of the STOCK Act and routinely trades shares in companies she oversees on the financial services committee.
Anything to keep lining her pockets, right?
“Cindy Axne doesn’t want to ban insider trading in Congress because she’s one of worst offenders,” said CLF a press Secretary Cally Perkins. “Axne is working for herself, not Iowans.”
