Porter wants to double your taxes?

California has among the highest in the nation taxes — now Democrats want to double it.

Governor Gavin Newsom has proposed “a state-level government health care scheme” — including health care for illegal immigrants — that would “roughly double taxes” adding up to an average increase of $12,250 per household, according to the nonpartisan Tax Foundation.

But no surprise, Katie Porter hasn’t said a word about it.

Californians are leaving in droves as taxes and the cost of living go through the roof, and now Porter and her allies want to make it even worse.

“Higher taxes, higher prices, higher crime — it’s no wonder people are bolting from California,” said CLF Press Secretary Cally Perkins. “Voters will hold Katie Porter accountable as Democrats hit Californians with crippling tax hikes that will make life even less affordable.”
