Democrats are stalling our recovery

Jobs numbers are in and it’s terrible news for House Democrats, forcing a real reckoning with the reality that their disastrous policies are stalling our recovery.

 

The two biggest reasons cited for today’s disastrous jobs report?

 

• The American Rescue Plan paying people to not work, creating a devastating labor shortage.

 

• Democrats continuing school shutdowns, preventing parents from returning to work.

 

Meanwhile, trillions in new spending is now causing inflation and the only policy Democrats are united behind is a job-crushing tax hike on small business.

 

“Democrats want to pretend they can tax-and-spend our way back to normal, but it’s becoming more obvious by the day that their socialist programs and never-ending lockdowns are only making things worse,” said CLF Communications Director Calvin Moore. “Parents need to get back to work, kids need to get back to school, and families need to know their paychecks will still be worth something, but Democrats are failing on all three.”
