With their House Majority on the ropes, Democrats continue searching in panic for any option other than running for re-election.

After last week’s flurry of retirements (here and here), POLITICO has a new article today saying a “half dozen” Democrats are now floating runs statewide rather than face their constituents in a “2022 election that could plunge Democrats back into the minority.”

Can you blame them? Guess it’s a lot easier to jump ship and save yourself than go down in defeat.

“Democrats know that sky high tax increases and failure to address our growing border crisis will cost them their jobs,” said CLF Communications Director Calvin Moore. “No wonder they’re searching for any and every excuse to avoid running for re-election.”
