Final CLF TV Ad in GA-06: Ossoff “Refuses” to Debate

Ad part of CLF’s $7 million independent expenditure campaign

WASHINGTON – The Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, released its final TV ad, “Refuses,” against extreme liberal Jon Ossoff in Georgia’s sixth district special election race. The ad highlights Ossoff’s repeated doublespeak throughout the campaign trail starting with his faux support of a robust debate schedule, to inflating his national security credentials, and attempt to hide his ties to Nancy Pelosi’s liberal agenda.

“Whether it’s exaggerating his resume or hiding his stance on key issues, Jon Ossoff continues to prove that he’s simply not ready to represent Georgia families in Congress,” said Corry Bliss, CLF Executive Director. “Ossoff would rather let his status as Nancy Pelosi’s rubber stamp speak for itself, instead of answering the tough questions. It’s clear that the carefully scripted candidate will do anything to hide the truth, and when it comes down to it, he will answer to Nancy Pelosi and out-of-state liberals who have bankrolled his campaign, not Georgians.”

The spot closes out CLF’s efforts on TV in the Atlanta media market, and is part of CLF’s $7 million independent expenditure campaign in the race. CLF was the first outside group to invest in the race and expose Jon Ossoff’s flimsy resume – an issue that has plagued his campaign and received ‘a Pinocchio’ from The Washington Post’s fact checker for misleading voters. CLF’s comprehensive efforts included TV, radio, and digital advertising, as well as a robust mail and field operation targeting 300,000 doors by Election Day, June 20.

ANNCR: Why is Jon Ossoff refusing to debate Karen Handel?

Ossoff ducked the CNN debate because he doesn’t want to answer the tough questions.

Ossoff doesn’t want to talk about his national security exaggerations or how he doesn’t live in our district, or why he’d rubber-stamp Nancy Pelosi’s liberal agenda.

Jon Ossoff:

Not ready for prime time.

Not ready for Congress.
