CLF Launches First TV Ad “Worst Thing Imaginable” Against Michael Eggman

Ad Kicks off CLF $2 Million Campaign in CA-10

WASHINGTON – The Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released its first ad, “Worst Thing Imaginable,” against Democrat Michael Eggman. The ad slams Michael Eggman’s dangerous stance on foreign policy while tying him to the unpopular Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“The Iran nuclear deal gave billions of dollars to the leading state sponsor of terrorism and even Secretary John Kerry admits the deal will fund terrorism. Yet Michael Eggman continues to support it,” said Ruth Guerra, spokeswoman for CLF.  “Michael Eggman’s views are dangerously wrong for California.”

The ad will air on broadcast, cable and online in the Sacramento media market beginning Wednesday, October 19, as part of CLF’s $2 million independent expenditure campaign in the race. A 15-second version of the ad will run on digital platforms. CLF and its sister organization American Action Network’s total announced general election spending to date is over $40 million in 32 districts nationwide.
