CLF Statement On GA-06 Special Election Debate

Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC) Executive Director Corry Bliss issued the following statement on Georgia’s 6th district special election debate between congressional candidates Karen Handel and extreme liberal Jon Ossoff:

“Tonight’s debate showed a stark contrast between an inexperienced kid with no record to run on, and a candidate who has a proven history of results on behalf of Georgia families. The only thing Jon Ossoff stands for is his status as a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi’s dangerous liberal policies of more government, higher taxes and a weakened military. His tired, recycled Democratic Party talking points were on full display as he dodged questions and failed to offer a substantive response to any issue. Ossoff further proved that Georgia voters can’t trust him to represent anyone other than Nancy Pelosi in Congress.”

Ossoff was greeted at this evening’s debate with a San Francisco-style trolley circulating the debate site before and during the event. The trolley was filled with CLF volunteers dressed as San Francisco liberals, a nod to the 95 percent of Ossoff-donors living outside of Georgia, and with the highest concentration residing in California.

CLF’s investment in Georgia’s special election now totals $7 million. CLF’s robust efforts include TV, radio, and digital advertising, as well as a mail and field program of 135 door knockers, targeting 300,000 doors by Election Day, June 20.
