CLF Nearly Doubles Spending in VA-10 Against LuAnn Bennett

Additional $1.2 Million Brings Total Investment to $2.7 Million

WASHINGTON – Today, the Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPac), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, announced plans to spend an additional $1.2 million in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District race against LuAnn Bennett. This spending brings CLF’s total investment in the race to $2.7 million. The independent expenditure will continue CLF’s broadcast and cable TV as well as digital advertising beyond October 25.

“By nearly doubling our spending in advertising we can ensure Northern Virginians hear the truth about LuAnn Bennett’s tax-and-spend agenda,” said CLF spokeswoman Ruth Guerra. “Families and small businesses in the 10th district have had enough of tax-hiking politicians like LuAnn Bennett.”

CLF’s total announced general election spending to date is over $33 million in 29 districts nationwide. CLF and its sister organization, American Action Network, remain the single largest outside conservative spenders on the U.S. House.
